Eloping in Aruba-need resources for hair style I can do myself

I have been looking at websites, magazines etc for wedding hairstyles.  Almost everything would require a professional hair dresser.  I am eloping and will need to do my hair myself.  I have mid-long hair (below shoulders) naturally straight, although I'd like it to be curly/wavy that day.  Any ideas where to look for ideas that don't require me to fly my hairdresser down with me?

    Youtube!  Just search for the type of hairstyle that you want.  There are so many videos of girls styling their hair with tips for you.  That's what I did for an event I had last week and it turned out great. :)
