I actually have a few today (YAY!)

I had a meeting with my venue about my flowers and have them all picked out
I booked my music for the ceremony
I booked my DJ
I booked my officiant
I made a little insert for my STD with our wedding website (had to have at least one DIY to even begin to keep up with the rest of you creative ladies)
And, I believe I am at 6 months today.  Time sure flies...

My baby sister is now engaged, and she sent me flowers at work asking me to be her Matron of Honor! It was so sweet

Not much here.  I finished the crayons for our kid's pack that will either be in the OOT boxes for family's with kids or at the reception at their chairs for them to play with

Booked DJ
Booking Photographer next week (pending consultation!)
Have been inquiring with caterers.
Set time/date for rehearsal
My MOH dresses are ordered
Found a coordinator on a DEAL (girl starting out, but certified)
We just completed the design & test prints on STDs!

And my little girl is holding adult conversations. She's 2, and she talks to me like she is a teenager. Smart little thing!

My shoes came in last night... that was fast! And they are too cute, I can't stop looking at them. My photo guestbook from Mixbook also came in and looks fantastic! Yippee for getting more things checked of the list. Now if I could just make a decision on a limo company and decide if we need a shuttle for guests after all.

Yep! They live in DC but are getting married in Asheville, NC. I don't envy the logistical nightmare that will ensue. I might go into hiding before June 16, 2012 rolls around!
I kid. I am so thrilled for them...and this means that J and I get to have a little getaway for our first anniversary!

Okay, call me a kid at heart but this has been my favorite DIY project yet.   We are having several kids at our wedding and wanted to give them something fun to do.  I decided to make these shaped crayons.  The hearts will be for the girls.  I will be making cars for the little boys. 

<strong>Step 1: </strong>
<em>Peel all the crayons</em>

<em>Break the crayons and separate into color groups.  I did "Fire colors", Pinks & Purples, blues, teals and greens, & neutrals.  Put between 15-20 pieces (1/4 of a crayon per piece) </em>

Crayons - <em>64 count for $1 at Michael's after coupon</em>

<strong>Total: Under $4 pre-wrapping</strong> (for 10 crayons...  I ended up making more after Al's neice gave me her broken crayons :P)

If you can swing it budget-wise, that is one of the things my relatives still rave about. We had a bus to take them pretty much anywhere, all weekend long, between the free hotel shuttle at the hotel I blocked and the shuttle I hired for wedding events.

But it IS a completely unnecessary wedding expense. Just one I ended up choosing because otherwise, I was going to have to organize cab rides for my 10 or so relatives from OOT that just plain would <em>not </em>drive in TX. :)

I have another meeting with our potential photog on Saturday- and this time FI gets to meet him! Here's hoping all goes well.

Also, still in the process of fighting the battle to move the wedding to his home town/our college town, but I am making much faster progress than I thought I would.

I had a "Let's Help Savs With Weddng Stuff Because She's Stuck Night" at my house last night and had family and friends over to help me decide on how to decorate the main and guest tables. After getting some people to focus I decided on what will be on the tables. Here are some pics:

We decided on an apartment, and are going to submit the applications today after work! It is bigger than the one we originally were looking at and is updated for only $15 more a month! So excited, the only bad thing is it is available when we are on our HM so we can't move in until afterwards like Oct. 1st. I was wanting to move before the wedding, but this apartment is worth it. I hope we get it!

So many great AW's today!! My only one is that I got a call this week while I was OOT from Stardust letting me know the bridesmaid dresses are in! Debating on whether or not I should head over there tonight to get them, in nasty golf attire and all!!! I don't think I can wait to see them!

Danielle, you didn't happen to have a consultation with McGowan, did you? We had our engagement portraits done tonight in McKinney, and they said they had a consultation wih a January bride...just wondering if it was a random coincidence!

My AW is definitely the above. Chelsea and Mack are BEYOND amazing- this was actually the first time we got to meet them because of travelling and being OOT, but it was fabulous. Plus, we'll have a FB sneak peek by Saturday, a blog post on Tuesday, and since they're going on vacation first thing in August, we'll have all our pictures in less than 2 weeks!!! So excited!
