best man duties

Is the best man supposed to be the point of contact for vendors at the reception? I've heard that's right. Our best man is bringing his own keg and he's kind of flaky even without the keg so I thought I would get stuck with it.

    I've never read he was a POC for vendors, but the old time outdated list of duties has said he has the check for the preacher/officient and makes sure it is delivered to him/her. Best man should not be a POC for any of the vendors.
