We've recieved mixed feelings about re-doing the dances at our reception back home after our destination wedding - some guests want us to re-do all of them while others think it's disrespectful to those who made the long trip to our wedding. I'm hoping to find some sort of compromise - any ideas? We're going to have a slide show going & I was thinking we could especially thank those who made the trip, and possibly dance to a different song?
Also, my husband doesn't want us to re-do the parent dances because his mom seemed really nervous during their dance. My dad would really like to, but is open to doing some variation to make things more comfortable for everyone, since it would be weird to have one and not the other. Is it ok to do a combined parent dance, or do any of you have ideas for some other variation to the parent dances?
