NWR: Downtown Hotels

My friend and I are celebrating our birthdays together and would like to have a night out in Dallas and then stay overnight in a suite. What hotels would you suggest? Any suggestions on dinner as well are appreciated! There are going to be around 8 girls going if that makes any difference.  Thanks so much in advance!

I had my lingerie party in a suite in the Melrose (my venue) and it was a blast.  We ate nearby at Bellini's Italian restaurant and then walked back to the hotel.  I liked my suite as much as the bridal suite we were in the next day.

You could have drinks at the Living Room, go to dinner at Kenichi and stay at the W.  (But that would be expensive).

Drinks at Dragonfly, dinner at Sambuca, stay at Hotel ZaZa.

Dinner anywhere at West Village, stay at Hotel Palomar.

Dinner at Coal Vines, stay at Stoneleigh.

Dinner at Iron Cactus, stay at Joule or Magnolia.

If I could stay anywhere....I'd totally stay at Hotel ZaZa.

Perhaps the W (dinner @ Craft) or the Joule (dinner @ Charlie Palmer), but those can be on the pricey end.

Hotel Joule is new and awesome.  PM Lounge is in the basement and I've always had a blast.  They have a rock candy champagne cocktail that is so yummy and fun.

Charlie Palmer restaurant is also in the hotel and is very good but pretty expensive.

    Happy Birthday!

Third vote for Charlie Palmer/Joule combo!  Amazing hotel, amazing restaurant.

My friend took me to brunch at Charlie Palmer last Sunday for my birthday before we went to see a play at the Majestic.  It was fabulous!  But dinner there would be expensive.

Sambuca is also right across the street from the new Ritz Carlton.

I would say the W if price isn't too much of an issue cause it's expensive. The pool is amazing and the ghost bar is upstairs and I think free to guests. Plus you can go around Victory park.
