I need a videographer recommendation

eek! The wedding is 2.5 months away, and I need a good videographer for about 6-8hrs. Does anyone have any recommendations? How much do you think they are? under 3K?

Yikes... are all videographers that exepensive??? We were only budgeting around $1000!

Even 1000 is high. I know ours was about 300.00.....

$300? wow that's really cheap- does he do editing and highlights of the wedding? and shoot in HD? Do you mind sharing the contact info?

It depends what you want- prices can range a lot. I used Josh Dutton. joshdutton.net -prices are on his site- and was very pleased but he was slow to get the video and has been taking along time on the edits and slow to communicate now. Most people on here recommend Adam Kegg. i liked Josh's video of our wedding as much as the one's I've seen of Adam's. I really like Austin Walton's work too but he was already booked for my day.

We hired Turquoise Productions. I thought their samples and edits were incredible.  They have many packages but I think ours is around $1800 for all day, highlight, photo montage for RD and wedding and two videographers. I LOVE Adrianne, the woman that we have met with.  I will let you know how it goes but I would look into them. They were by far the best one I found when I searched. I didn't look into Adam though. People love him on this board but I think he books fast.
