So I am not 100% sure who I want to walk me down the isle. Of course there is a part of me that wants my dad to do it. When I was growing up he was there, but after my parents divorced and he was remarried we didn't talk much. He hasn't always been there, but once in awhile surprises me. My fiance doesn't want my dad to walk me down the isle, he feels he hasn't earn the right to "give me away" because he hasn't been there. He really wants my grandpa to walk me down the isle because he is always around, fixing things at our home, inviting me fiance to do things, although I like the idea I still want my dad to do it. Help! I have even tried to compromise and have both parents walk me down so that it isn't just my dad, but my fiance is being stubborn and doesn't seem to realize this is a decision I need to make. He feels that because I am not taking his input on this one situation that I won't let him make any other decisions for the wedding and that I don't value his opinion and I really do.
