What to say at ceremony! help!

Hi!
We are writing the whole ceremony and are stumped on what to say. We want it to be non-religious, on the shorter side and with some humor. Does anyone have some ideas on resources that we can use?? your suggestions are much appreciated

  • google?
dont make ur password so easy. gbck2CA2 hahahaha
  • write your own vows...have a friend or family member get officiated to marry you...
  • it may be too childish and humorous for you, but I saw on google where someone wrote Dr. Seuss vows (it was almost a skit - the bride, groom, and officiant were all in on it). Anyway, I read them, and if it was done in the right way it could be cute. But personally, NMS

  • I am also doing this. I am having a friend officiate the ceremony.  We are having some readings, and a reading from the bible as well.  I found some examples by searching on google.  I changed them and really just used them as an example.  But, I think this will help you get a structure to follow and then you can add the things you want to say.  Don't make it too short, this is the point of the whole day after all.  I have had lots of fun creating our ceremony.  My fiance, my officiate and myself have all had input, suggestions and made it better together.  So, welcome ideas from those closest to you and it will be meaningful!
  • I saw something on a wedding show which I really liked and thought was funny:

Officant:  "Do you take this woman to be your wife?"
    Groom: "I do"
Officant "Do you take this man to be you husband?"
    Bride: "I do"
    Officant: "They both answered correctly"
