Wedding Party

I can't stop watching as they are bringing the trapped miners to the surface.  it is so compelling, and I find myself in tears every time another is freed.  I imagine that the excitement, joy and pride must be consuming for Chileans.  Bravo to all that are part of this incredible story.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

  • I'm so glad I'm not the only one glued to CNN.  I didn't even get much sleep last night because I kept the laptop on and couldn't stop crying.  I'm counting them down.

All my love and respect to those miners, their families, and all those who have aided their rescue.
  • It's been so moving...every time I see a miner reunite with his family I've started crying!

  • I hadd CNN streaming live on my computer all day at work and was counting off as each one came up for my co-workers. It's an amazing story and I can only wish them and their families the best.

  • Last one about to go up! I can't believe it, and I'm crying again. This crying is getting a little ridiculous.
  • And they're all safe! Alright, dinnertime for me, it's 10pm but I haven't been able to leave my TV long enough to heat my dinner.
