So my best friend is going to be our officiant. And my sister is my MOH. In most cases the MOH is the glorified bridesmaid who gets all the extra attention from the bride and vise versa, in my case it's my officiant. I think it makes it more special that our close friend we've known for years and knows each of us so well marry us. My future husband has 5 groomsmen and I have 4 bridesmaids.I'm having them walk down the aisle together instead of having the men at the front and the bridesmaids walk alone. I came up with the idea of having the 5th groomsmen (who happens to be our officiant's husband) walk my officant down the aisle. They would walk down first. She would stand where the officiant stands nnce at the alter then the fith groomsmen would walk to his position. Then we would have the rest of the attendents walk down until the best man and MOH, then me (the bride :-)) and my dad. I was curious what everyone's thoughts on this would be? To me and my fiance it sound like a good idea.
