Honorary Bridesmaids?

I have four bridesmaids in my wedding. We are paying for our own wedding and it will be a low key affair. I have three girls that I am thinking about asking to be honorary bridesmaids. I will not make them do any work at the wedding, I just want them to be recognized and feel special. Does anybody have any advice on a creative way I can ask them? Thank ya'll!!

Ask them to be a guest.  Honorary BMs are people who cannot attend the wedding.  To have an honorary BM who is there is the same as saying "A<a href="http://www....I" rel="nofollow">www....I</a> love you so much but you just didn't make the cut.  Please accept this consolation prize."
