Soooo.....
Im getting married in about 3 weeks and my Bridesmaid just notified me that she has not ordered her dress. She told me she cant pay for it right now because she is unemployed. I feel for her, but am also frustrated that A) She just dropped this on me now
She COULD pay for it, but is "scared" to put it on her credit card (??), and C) Dude, did I mention im getting married in like, 3 weeks!? Again, I feel for her situation, but Its frustrating to JUST learn this now when she told me she has worried about this for "months" and did not tell me she had not ordered it.
After talking to her she said she could pay me back if I ordered it for her. So I did. I paid for expedited shipping and it actually will be here late next week. This is a stupid issue at this point but here it is: The dress was $150 (on sale, thankyouverymuch) and the expedited shipping was $50 to guarantee she gets it in time. But she sent me a check for $100 and said that is "all she can do". Again, I know its a tough time financially but do I press her on this? Suck it up? Write it off to the FML Gods? She is a friend and I dont want to rock the boat but its really bugging me that im out $100 and had to deal with the drama....
