I'm having an issue with my head table configuration. One of my BMs just got engaged (yay!!!), and I'm concerned with how the head table situation will work. I know head tables are becoming less popular these days, but it's a tradition in my family to have one. I do like them, anyway. I also am aware that it's bad form to break up social units, so I don't want her FI to be stranded. However, my other BMs have all said they don't want to bring dates, especially since they don't have any SOs at the moment and feel like bringing a date for the sake of a date would keep them from having a good time (their words, not mine). I want to have a head table, but I don't want my engaged BM to be the only one not sitting at it, because I don't want to break up her and her FI. What should I do?
