Need a harpist or violinist :-}

Does anyone know where I can find a good harpist or violinst that is resonable in price? Most of the harpist I have found are $300-$350 for 30 minutes of playing, which is a little out of my budget. Any help or information you can give would be great! Thanks girls!!!AllisonAcmonkey04@yahoo.com

    Allison, I am also looking for a harpist or Violinist, all I would need is thirty minutes but 300 is a bit much for that amount of play time. If you hear of anyone will you let me know, and if I find someone I will do the same! Thanks!

    You guys could try contacting YOSA, the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio. They allow you to hire ensembles. We used a string quartet at my sister's wedding years ago and they were fantastic! These kids are the top high school musicians in the SA area. See if they have anyone who could do a harp or violin solo.     I'm using Nelda Ethridge. I believe she is about $200. www.saharp.com.

    Our wedding coordinator recommended Nelda as well.  She does a beautiful job.

    Try the music departments at local colleges and universities once the fall semester gets going. Just post a notice on their message boards and see what bites you get!! (Be sure to ask for demos of some kind..:o)
