Flowers for my bridesmaids

I am having a beach wedding in May and I am having my bridesmaids wear cobalt blue chiffon dresses.  I was thinking of having them carry calla lillies.  Any ideas????

    That sounds very pretty but when I think about the beach and flowers, hydrangeas always come to mind.  To me, they just shout beach.  However, they do require a ton of water to keep them fresh looking.

    My bridesmaids are wearing cobalt blue dresses and carrying calla lillies in my October wedding so obviously I totally think it works! =)

    I think it could work, just keep in mind that calla lillies bruise very easily.  I was in a wedding over the fourth of july and the flowers looked pretty bad by the time the wedding alone was over.  The wedding was in PA, so I'm not sure if the weather is comparable or will have an effect to a beach wedding.  GL!
