BM in navy... what about the boys?

My colors are navy and apple green. The bridesmaids are wearing tea length strapless navy dresses and the flower girls are wearing green dresses with navy sashes. For the life of me, I don't know what to do with the guys!I found a great navy/green striped tie that I love but I don't know what to do with it.  The wedding is not really formal, so I know we could go with khakis/navy blazers for the boys but I'm wondering if it will look weird with navy BM dresses? But could I use the navy/green tie with black suits or tuxes??I'm so lost!!

First off, ask FI. He picks the guys' attire. Now, assuming he doesn't care:* a black tux or suit will match ANYTHING* tan suits or grey suits since you said it's not a formal wedding* navy blazers, white skirts, khaki pants and the ties you picked would also look niceDon't worry about perfectly matching the navy to everything. The key is to "coordinate," not "match." Things can be in different colors or shades and still coordinate. If you try to match everything, your head will explode.

My bff's wedding was a couple weeks ago, and all of us BMs were in navy.  The guys wore black tuxes, and silver ties/vests.  The groom wore a white/ivory tie and vest.  It looked great together!  Take a swatch or one of the girls' dresses, if you hvae them, and hold it up next to a black suit, or take it to the tux shop to compare so you can get an idea about how it looks, and how you feel about it.

I like khaki suits or navy blazers/khakis...i think they would look great with the blue and green.

I think that the Khaki suits with the green/navy ties would look hot with the BM's Navy dresses.I agree with the other gals that you should have FI decide what he wants his guys to wear and what their budgets will allow for. You can def give what you were thinking to your FI and you never know he may say "Oh baby your awesome that would look great on the guys"(Wink, Wink)

FI definitely doesn't care. He'd rather not wear a tux, but he's pretty much up for anything else. And he'd probably settle for a tux if it really was the only option.Meh. Why are dresses so much easier than tuxes and suits??

Our BMs are wearing navy dresses. the guys are wearing black tuxes with I assme navy ties and/or vests. FI wont tell me what he picked out but I know that its a black tux with some navy incorporated somehow.

My bridesmaids are also wearing navy. I think black looks fine, but my groom and our groomsmen are wearing gray tuxes... just a little more unique. Love your color combo by the way!
