Bridesmaid Gift Question

I got all my bridesmaids gift cards - one to JCrew, one to Banana Republic, and one to Williams Sonoma. Since my wedding weather is now in the 15 day forcast, its a good chance its going to be chilly (high around 55), so I picked up a black pashmina type wrap for each bridesmaid too, since they'll be in knee length tank dresses and I don't want anyone to be cold. I think of it as being considerate to my friends rather than a gift.

I've read all the posts saying attire/jewelry for the wedding is not a gift to your bridesmaids and totally agree, so I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to include the wrap as a gift along with the personal gifts, or if I should give them the wraps before the ceremony seperate from their gift cards.

I don't see any harm in wrapping it up with the other stuff if you want to.

I don't think it really matters. The important part is that you got them a NWR gift for them (the gift cards). You can give them together if you want, I don't see a problem with it.

Since there's a personal gift, I don't think it matters.  Either way, just let them know they're free to wear them if they feel cold.

If you want them all wearing them at the ceremony (as in, no opting out), I'd give them out while you're getting ready.  If it's a "just in case you get cold" thing, it's fine to give them with the gift.

It's fine if you give them something for the wedding, as long as that's not their ONLY gift.

I also bought pashminas for the BMs to use if they got cold, and I put them in the bags with their personal gifts. Also black clutches that I found on sale, so they wouldn't have to go out and buy their own.

I think it's very sweet that you got the pashminas IN ADDITION to the gcs. If you had only gotten them the pashminas I would say that you should get them something more.
