etsy bridesmaid cards! Where are you?

A few months back someone posted the most adorable cards they had ordered on etsy. They were to ask the bridesmaids& flower girls to be in the wedding.I can't seem to find them on etsy& was hoping for your help!Thanks!

I have three points: 1. You are just over a year away from your wedding. The rule of thumb is to wait until you are about 8 months out to ask your wedding party. As much as no one likes to admit it, relationships do change and there are a lot of posts on this board from brides that asked too soon. 2. If you want to do the cards, go for it, but you don't have to ask with something cutsie. I called and asked my girls (I live too far away to do it in person) and I will never forget how excited and honored they were. I am very happy I was able to personally share that moment with them. Also, it's cheaper and you can save some bucks that can go towards their gifts. 3. I don't know where to find the cards, but I would post this on the DIY board. Those ladies should be able to direct you to an etsy seller or maybe give you a template so that you can make them yourself. Good luck!

Try searching "Will you be my bridesmaid card" on etsy. That should do the trick.

I have to respectfully disagree--if you're just over a year away, you should be fine asking with a year or less to go. I don't quite understand why you couldn't just search for it these on etsy. I just did and found 121 designs right off the bat. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine when ppl come on here and ask for help with things that can easily be googled, so I'm trying hard not to snark. I also have to agree that it's not necessary to use a card--asking in person or over the phone isn't any less special since the honor is in being asked, not in how they are asked. I mean do it if you want, but this is the type of thing mags tell you that you *must* do but it's just a way to encourage you to spend more money. Just some food for thought.

Honestly brooke, I agree with you on the asking. I just constantly see everyone posting about asking at 8 months so I figured I'd throw it out there. I actually asked my bm just after I got engaged, so about 10 months before the wedding, and everything worked out fine.

Well, my BMs started freaking out that I didn't ask them the *second* I got engaged so I'm an advocate of asking at the year-or-less mark. Just in case their friends are as weird as mine

Thanks for all the HELPFUL comments! For the not so nice ones... I am always so hesitant to post on here because I see so many "snarky" comments being posted. As everyone knows, everyone is different and has different ideas about how to do things! I just fell in love with these particular cards& am only having family in the wedding party so they are a pretty safe choice. I live in California& my entire fam is in Mich so I wanted to ask them while I am home for the Holidays.I did search on etsy& could not find the particular card I had previously seen& although it was a long shot... I was really hoping the original poster would see my post.Thanks!

FYI: "cute etsy cards" is not a very specific search term. Hints like color, shape, etc. might have yielded you some more specific responses.

I'm not being nasty, I'm pointing out why you didn't get the answers you wanted. You asked for the "adorable cards" on "etsy" "to ask the bridesmaids&flower girls to be in the wedding" (direct quotes from your OP). I did a search and found 121 matching that description. Without more to go on, I can't be more helpful.

You can always have bridesmaids card custom made through Etsy's alchemy!  That's how I got mine and I love them!
