I have always wanted my MOH to be my cousin...i am an only child and consider her the closest person to a sister i have. Well i have been with my FI for 10yrs and we have been engaged for going on7yrs (i know its a very long engagement lol). So we set a wedding date for next August...in the meantime my cousin has also been engaged for about 3yrs. Before my FI and i set a date, my cousin basically was saying that we couldnt set a date until she did because she felt we couldn't have two weddings in the same year...well i thought that was extremely ridicoulous and said i wasn't going to wait any longer and wasn't going to put my life on hold. We waited a few months to see if she was making any plans and finally decided not to wait any longer and go ahead with setting a date. Well...you would have thought the world ended..it was such a huge ordeal in her eys that i set a date and caused somuch tension between our family it was crazy! So long story short she picked her wedding date to be a month before mine and is now not able to help me with planning my wedding due to her busy planning hers. Not to mention she is having a destination wedding and expects me to be a BM in hers plus pay for all travel expenses now on top of my own wedding expense.....!! Is this unfair or I am just seeing this in a different light!? Help
