My sister-in-law (i.e. husband's sister) is getting married again. They're doing 'the whole nine yards' as she calls it. My son, who will be three in May, is the ring bearer. My Mother-in-law recently suggested I practice with him so he doesn't drop or lose the rings. Is this a Catholic thing? I mean I was raised Baptist and the ring bearer never actually has the rings in my families ceremonies. Just some 'faux' representation of rings clipped or tied to the pillow. The best man is always in charge of the wedding bands. Now I don't know how 'suggest' it be done. Of course my three year old may infact drop the rings. How should I handle this?
