Is it ok to have two Maid of Honors?

I have to two girls that are like sisters to me and I'm having one heck of a time deciding who to ask to be my maid of honor. I know I'll end up hurting one of their feelings and I don't want to do that at all. I've heard of weddings have a maid of honor and a matron of honor, but haven't heard of two maid of honors. Any input?  Thanks!

If they are both unmarried, then yes, the title for both is maid of honor. It's perfectly acceptable to have two.

I have two maids!! I could never choose between the two of them. I thought that they would be disappointed that they had to share the position but I think it was kind of a relief they both seemed happy and now they can work together. And they both are so different they bring different ideas to the table.  Definitely do two, don't choose one or the other you will regret it!
