I don't think so though.  I think Retread was mod of a few boards and WP was getting more activity so it could benefit from the two - and I'm not a mod on any other boards at the moment so when the move came to need a mod on Moms and Maids, my assumption is that Retread would be great for the part and I can stay with my sole mod duties to just one board.

Huh.  Not sure.  I post there in spurts, and therefore I honestly don't remember everyone's usernames and who I may have pissed off in the past or over what issue.

I *do* know that a while back I had a larger sig and they all went ballistic over it.  They're pretty adamant about the big sigs over there, and I had a photo plus a post-wedding ticker, plus a weight loss ticker (yeah, that one didn't work so well), and they went nutty over it wanting me to change it.  I wouldn't until I was ready.  I'd been planning to lose the wedding ticker at the 6-month mark and use the weight loss ticker to guilt myself into eating better, and I wasn't going to change my plans for them.  They didn't like that.

At that point, I wasn't the only one they were freaking at, they'll jump on anyone with lots of stuff in the sig or a photo deemed "too big" by their standards, but I'm pretty much the only one who refused to change it AND kept coming around.

So this thing with my face painted photos was actually the second time it happened, which I think already colored their opinions.  They may or may not be crazy about ME, sig photo aside.  And they're certainly not crazy about people who tell them "no."

Other than that, there seem to be a whole lot of Twilight fans over there, so they've got a narrow idea of what "vampire" should be.  A lot of comments also seemed to assume that everyone in a sig should try to look "pretty."  I don't see the point in that.  I'm not exactly trying to pick up guys here.  And I know what I look like every day, sometimes It's fun to play a different facet.  And yeah, the original face was an old one and was NOT shown to its best advantage with the flash in that photo.  But after that, nothing was going to be "right" to them unless I went with a photo like I've got in my sig now.

So... a combination of things?

I'm naturally blonde, just not naturally AS blonde, lol. My true color is a dark blonde, and I highlight the crap out of it, I have no shame, hahaha.
