  • Super!  I'm so glad that you had a fantastic wedding day!

Any update on the kitty situation?

I know what you mean about crying; I cry fairly easy too...it's just my main way of expressing an emmotion.  If I'm mad, I cry.  Sad, I cry.  Really really frustraed? Cry.  Really happy? Cry.  So I know what you mean. :)  And then when I try to talk when I'm crying it sounds all strangled and ridiculous. haha.

    Before the ceremony:

During the ceremony, right after Kevin started to put the ring on the wrong finger. I started to tap his hand with my left ring finger, but it was too late: the officiant noticed and told him "the other hand!" Oh and we didn't get a shot of this, but when we were saying the first part of our vows, he said "I do" too early (it was a two-part question, "do you take..." and "will you love her...", he said "I do" right away) and she said that he's a very eager groom. Our officiant was just lovely and had such a gentle, humorous way about her.

We really did it! (front row, from front to back: my mom, my dad, Kevin's brother Dan, Kevin's dad and stepmom, and Kevin's grandmother)

Not-signing the fake register. (They give you a blank one, and you don't really write in it - you're not allowed to take photos of the actual register book. Clicky if you're curious.)

After the ceremony we headed to the somewhat crumbling part of the farmhouse. I thought the bright red leaves were just fabulous. The weather was nice and there was a little breeze that kept picking up my veil. I think the photographer captured it nicely in these two:

(Kevin's suit did not actually have that level of crazy stripiness going on. It's a little moire courtesy of FB):

Although that nice breeze made it awfully hard to throw the confetti, but a couple of guests managed:

Taking a break during the dinner hour to blow some kisses to my new husband:

    Let's dance!

I kept having to tell Kevin to slow down during our first dance :^)

Emma appears to be doing the robot, but I don't think it actually was ;^) The guy to the right of me tried to sneak into our room to "enhance" it a bit somehow, but was foiled by my dad holding the room key as we'd asked him to, and the venue owner telling him that she was terribly sorry, but she didn't have a spare key. Mwahahaha.

::crosses fingers that I didn't mess up the PIP::
    ::ETA: PIP success!::
  • Beautiful!  Looks like it was a lot of fun :)

"I think bablingbrooke is the 13 yr old marring her cousin at the town hall. Lets all give her a big hand. And hope her inbred children can live normal lives." -tabs.

lol.... yes, that's me exactly :^)

Kitties - well, we move into our own place on November 30, but Kevin and I might each be going our separate ways for the next day.... well, him for sure for work, me possibly to meet up with a friend in London. So we might not actually go pick them up until December 2. If I don't end up going into London, then I'm going to pick them up pretty much as soon as I get the keys and then go to the store for a few food and kitty care items :^) Thank you for asking! I miss my babies!

Thank you Brooke! I think everyone had a great time, which is what I was most concerned about... I'd be married either way so I wasn't so worried about that, I just wanted everyone to have a good time at the whole thing :^)
  • You look so happy in the pictures--they're beautiful!  Congratulations :-)
  • How pretty! It looks like such a wonderful day. Congratulations!

  • Thank you so much ladies, you all are so sweet!! I agree about the laughing ceremony shot... I'm really glad the photographer got that one :^) I think that's a framer. We're not honeymooning right now and probably not in the near future, unlesss we want to honeymoon somewhere in England (my visa is only for entry as a fiancee - now I have to apply for my spousal visa before I can reenter the country if I leave), although I guess our trip to London with my parents could be kind of a mini-moon maybe?

frogurt: I am too, absolutely thrilled :^D
