When was the last time you felt unappreciated? Throughout my search for a full time job, which still continues...

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores? Yes, although neither of us has been good about getting housework done lately.  I probably do more but when I'm lucky he does all of the dishes and helps with dinner.

What's your favorite board game? Pentago or Othello

Do you have game nights? Not unless playing one of the above games over and over counts.

Last time I felt unappreciated? Within the last week or so.

Do you share household chores? Usually no but last night he helped me clean the house. It cut time in half and let us have some time together. That came way out of left field but it was nice.

Favorite board Game? Kids Monopoly. I loved 'Candy Land' and 'Shoots and Ladders' as a kid. I've never played real monopoly but I still have the kids' game so I play it.

Game Night?With the neighbors. Every now and then we get together when we can for drinking and board games. We played Partini and Scattegories last time. We are planning a new one soon.

When was the last time you felt unappreciated?

Hahaha, DH taking the credit for picking out our sweet new computer chair. The same chair that I literally had spent 40 minutes in Staples trying to talk him into buying, because, while it was great in the store, he wasn't sure if we'd like it "once we got home" (And I knew we both would). Now, he's in love with it and tells everybody it was his genius idea to get it. Silly man.

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores?
For the most part. We usually each have one day a week off while the other is at work, so our general rule is, if it's your "alone" day off, you have to do at least one major chore (Like vacuuming the whole place or do a full load of laundry from start to fold) or 2 lesser chores (Like load the dishwasher and straighten up the living room or something like that).

What's your favorite board game?
With the right group of people, Monopoly. But it has to be the right group of people.

Do you have game nights?

Does having LAN parties on WoW count? Lol, we're such nerds.

When my sister called and asked for a bottle of rum cuz it was after 9 on sunday and she was getting together with our 2 brothers and I didn't get an invite. I guess I was only good for the booze that night.

Absolutely, I wash he dries. he does the laundry, I put it away etc.

I can't possibly pick just one lol I love borad games but if it's not Monopoly or Risk FI doesn't wanna play, I try to buy games he might like though so maybe I'll convert him one day.

When was the last time you felt unappreciated?  I feel unappreciated at home when I'm totally stressed out with work.  I sometimes find maintaining a career, a home, a relationship, and a social life to be very difficult.  But, my fiance always hugs me, kisses me, and then does whatever I ask when I get upset like that.  He's pretty much awesome.

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores?  Yes, if by share you mean my looking at what needs to be done and then telling him his part.

What's your favorite board game? Clue.  Or Connect Four.  Or Shoots and Ladders!!

Do you have game nights?  When money gets tight, we break out the wine and play Monopoly.

EDIT: Trivial Pursuit.  How could I forget that great game?  I love trivia games.  I'm so my father's child.

I can't think of a specific time right now.

Yes, we have certain chores that we do, but we both contribute.

When was the last time you felt unappreciated?I'll ditto pp who cited her job search.  It's always frustrating when people take a very long time to get back to you.
Do you and your FI/DH share household chores?Yes.  The chores are pretty evenly split amongst everyone.
What's your favorite board game?I love Scrabble.
Do you have game nights?We have game nights or days where we'll play sports games on the Wii or play SceneIt on the Xbox.  Lots of fun!

When was the last time you felt unappreciated?

The whole planning process.  Fi finally realized how much went into this when vendors began complimenting me on how organized and laid back I've been about it all.

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores?

Yep.  Whomever cooks, the other does dishes.  Last out the door makes the bed.  We each do everything else, except take out the trash and recycling.  That's all him.

What's your favorite board game?

Trivial Pursuit.  FI still can't get over how my family will trash talk our ways through games.  What can I say, we were student athletes.

EDIT: trash talk with eachother.  We play nice with everyone else.
 

Do you have game nights?
No. But friends of ours will organize big trivia nights every few months where teams are made up of tables of 8-10 people.

Joy - If you are interested, I can let you know the next time our friends are organizing trivia nights.  Again, big huge deals, about 100 people at each one.

When was the last time you felt unappreciated?  When so many people blew off our AHR.  A lot of them were sick, but still...

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores?  Pretty much.  Usually the only way anything gets done is if we work together.

What's your favorite board game?  Risk

Do you have game nights?  No, but we get together about once a month with friends for a D&D session that takes most of the day.  Sometimes other games come out, especially if too many players have to skip.  We were setting up another weekly session with a different group, but then the GM and his girlfriend broke up kind of messily, so that didn't go anywhere.

This is totally my family, too. Whenever anyone gets a piece of the pie, we all pipe in with "Cheating. Totally Cheating. And pumpkin eating. You wouldn't have gotten it if you weren't cheating," etc. It's so fun.

When was the last time you felt unappreciated? A couple months ago after my FI had come back from the cabin one weekend. I had spent the whole weekend cleaning our condo and when he came home, he pretty much threw his stuff all over the place.

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores? Absolutely. This hasn't really been a debate between us since we grew up with both parents splitting the chores 50/50

What's your favorite board game? Probably Monopoly or Scene It

Do you have game nights? Sometimes, they mostly involve our Wii :-D

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores? yup, but e've both been slacking this week

What's your favorite board game?  Othello, but IF won't play with me anymore b/c I always win.  I prefer cards anyway.

Do you have game nights? not since college.  Last Christmas we played a lot of Monopoly - FFIL LOVES games.

Today.  Another teacher fussed at me because I was watching another class, and she wound up missing about 10 minutes of her planning period.  I don't even have a planning period on Fridays, so I have no sympathy.  And she gave no thought to the fact that I had been running all over the school--as I ran into my classroom, she walked about before I could catch my breath. 

Do you and your FI/DH share household chores? Yep.  There's no official job list or anything, we just do what we can, and everything gets done.

What's your favorite board game? Quelf.  It's awesome.

Do you have game nights? FI and his friends love to play cards--so sometimes I join in.  We don't have set nights, though.

When was the last time you felt unappreciated? Most recently? I can't think of any specific incident, but it would be nice to know that the people who live in my house appreciate what I do for them...
Do you and your FI/DH share household chores? Yep...he does laundry, I vacuum, and we share dishes...although I do most if not all of the cooking
What's your favorite board game? We found this game in a toy shop called "Encore" and it's freaking awesome (ETA: Adding Apples to Apples as well, when my girls and I get together to play that it is always crazy! )
Do you have game nights? My friends and I used to have one like once a month, switching up hosts each time, but then it more or less became a thing at my house because it's bigger and I cook...but it hasn't happened in a while due to some drama BS...
