Wedding Party

You wanted a tough question...here you go :)

I'm getting married in 9 months.  We have a huge bridal party   of 18.  However, tragically, a few months ago, one of our groomsman passed away in a terrible motorcycle accident and we are now faced with the dilemma of what to do.  We had originally decided that he could NOT be replaced and we were going to simply leave his place open.  Now we are concerned with a few things.  1.  this is going to make me have one bridesmaid that is walking alone. 2.  she will also walk in alone at the reception....3.  who will dance with her during the bridal party dance.....and the major one.  I dont want my wedding to be a giant memorial service (I lost my father recently as well).  Sooo...what do I do...do I "replace" him....leave him "in?  I dont want to have one groomsman walk with two girls...i think it will look funny and takes away from the groomsman and the other girl.  I feel like people are going to ask why she is alone...."her partner passed away"....then she walks in alone at the reception and the same question gets asked by people not at the church ceremony...then who dances with her? we are having his picture there right now at the head table...i just feel like the day is becoming about him and not about myself and my furture husband and we are what the day is all about....HELP!!!!
