I might have a particular situation, but would love some of your thoughts...
Fiance and I found out his dad was offended that he wasn't asked to be his Best Man or in the wedding party (apparently being involved in the wedding by being the FOG wasn't enough - whoops!). Because the wedding party was already set, fiance had an idea to have his dad present our rings at the ceremony (we don't have a ring bearer), but was unsure if his dad should stand up front with the wedding party, or be seated with the guests and then stand at his seat when presenting the rings. He asked his dad if he wanted this role, but his dad, still offended, declined. Now fiance is unsure if he should ask his Dad to be a 2nd Best Man (he has a Best Woman currently) or if he should ask again about him presenting the rings in hopes he'll change his mind...Thoughts???
