So I'm the MoH in a wedding. I'm a recent grad and work for a non-profit in a super expensive city. The other bmaids are in less similar situations between free rent, or living in the city where the wedding will be held. For me the total cost of the wedding is pushing $1400 and I've had to get a second job and put of medical issues because I can't afford the co-pay.
About a week ago I found out that NONE of the other bridesmaids are planning on attending the shower. To remedy this the bride reached out to one of the girls (the one who lives in the wedding city) and requested her presence. The girl told her it was about money and the bride then offered to pay for her flight and hotel (the ONLY flight she'd have to take for the whole ordeal). I can't help but feel really upset. I've been the only person to put any planning and thought into this and it seems like I am the person being punished the most. Any suggestions for helping me deal?
