A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with: Hmmm. I don't know if I have one. I will say Baystate because there is the comfort of knowing her from back in the day, and she is super sweet.

Your favorite type of cuisine: Mexican, for right now. I am addicted to the tacos.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? I have bungee jumped, I would probably sky dive.

Can you do a handstand? I am too afraid to even start. The idea of throwing myself head first into the ground? oy vey.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully graduated from grad school and working for Christie's in their rare book department. Married and owning a bar with my 4 best friends (FI included in my best friends). If not knocked up, then in the process of starting the process.
  • Knottie you'd call? I'm going to say Emilyinchile. She seems fun, sweet, and thoughtful. Not to mention she loves dogs and is gorgeous.

    Favorite cuisine? Italian...yum!

Did you ever skydive/bungee jump? I would skydive but not bungee jump. I know that sounds weird but neither will ever happen.

Can you do a handstand? not without seriously injuring myself

In five years? Married and thinking about having kids. I'll be in a new and better job. I'm thinking of going back to school so hopefully I will have a new degree for something I actually like in 5 years.
    Anniversary
  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with:  Dawww, B.  Right back atcha, for the same reasons.  Also the girls on the Nov. '10 board, because I couldn't pick just one, they are all awesome.

Your favorite type of cuisine: Japanese, right now.  But I'm of course partial to Italian as well.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? I don't think so.  I'm terrified of heights and of falling.

Can you do a handstand?  A very brief, limited one, lol.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?  With any luck, I'll be done with grad school (of course, I have to go back first) and hopefully owning a house with at least one rugrat running about.

  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with: I'm going to go with CA2, and all we would talk about is dirty MJs. Or maybe xoxo, and we could just talk about bacon. Either way, I'm fine with it.

Your favorite type of cuisine: Italian! When I die, I want to be buried in pasta.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? I would. I think it would be fun. My grandma did it a few times when she worked at a parachute factory. If she can do it, so can I.

Can you do a handstand? No, and I never could! I was in gymnastics for years, but much to my instructor's frustration I could not do a right-handed cartwheel and could not do a handstand without someone holding me up.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? With my Master's degree and a fulfilling job with a rockin' husband...and a dog...hopefully!

  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with:
Probably baystate, or writersblock (from our month board)
    Your favorite type of cuisine:
    The cooked kind, generally

    Would you ever skydive/bungee jump?
Not in a million years, but we are doing a trapeze class for my friend's 30th bday next weekend. We'll see if I actually get up there..
    Can you do a handstand?
    Yes, briefly.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Pushing a stroller as I walk the oldest one to school... Oh, and working for myself as a Non-Profit Fraud Investigator/Consultant

  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with: Oooh, tough one. Based on how jealous Stina's new sig pic makes me feel, I think I'd feel right at home with Stina and xoxo. And Meg. And...ok, can we just have a big international GTG already, please?

Your favorite type of cuisine: How I miss good Mexican food.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? I think I'm too much of a pansy.

Can you do a handstand? I am scared to try, so probably not anymore. Unless underwater counts.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I've been saying for the past 2 years that we'll move back to CA in 5 years, so maybe we'll actually be there by then! Probably also starting to have kids. Professionally, I really don't know...I like my job and feel like it will lead to bigger things, but I don't yet know what I want those bigger things to be.
  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with:
Probably Cass from the April board.
    Your favorite type of cuisine:
Italian. God I love pasta, it's just fabulous.

    Would you ever skydive/bungee jump?
Bungee jump, yes, but only over water because in my head I'm convinced it's safer. But not skydive, way too scary.
    Can you do a handstand?
Yes. When I was in gymnastics I could hold it for over 2 minutes. Now, not sure. I haven't tried recently.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully in my own house, so tired of renting. And hopefully promoting my next book, if I could ever get the funds together.
  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with: Tupp, in March '09... if she didn't live in Holland.

Your favorite type of cuisine: Cajun.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? Not on your freakin' life.  I'm a chicken & proud of it!

Can you do a handstand? Nope.  I was terrible at gymnastics as a kid; the only thing I could do properly was a BACKWARDS somersault.  No idea why.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Practicing 100% family law and liking it, running a booming botanicals business, painting my little heart out, happily married, and dashing around with my nephews.
  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with:
I'm not sure, but I sure wish I had one right now.

    Your favorite type of cuisine:
I love pasta, and I really miss good Mexican food too.

    Would you ever skydive/bungee jump?
    I don't think so

    Can you do a handstand?
I can't even do a damn cartwheel. Never have.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to have a few acres and a home, and a little one running around.

  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with: Probably someone from my month borad

Your favorite type of cuisine: Italian!  Had some last night.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? haha. no way.

Can you do a handstand? ha, almost as funny as the idea of me skydiving.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? It will depend on where FI gets a fellowship, but he'll be DH by then.  I'm guessing we'll probably end up in Richmond with a house, yard, 2 dogs, guinea pigs, and a rabbit.  If we're in Richmond, I'll probably teach at a private school.
  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with:  Would love to have a few...don't feel like I've been around enough yet.

Your favorite type of cuisine: Mmm...LOVE Indian, Italian, Chinese.  Pretty much just food in general.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? I don't know about that.

Can you do a handstand? Used to be awesome at them, but I haven't tried in a long time.  Every year or so I get drunk and attempt a front hand spring though.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully in a house with a kid...and I'd better finally have a full-time job by then. Smile
  • A knottie that you could "call up" and talk about anything with:
Probably Stina ... the FB connection is pretty sweet, lol. Em, I'm also experiencing "teh envee" of the Stina/Xoxo pic. Why can't you 3 live in my neighborhood? We could totally have a slumber party?
Your favorite type of cuisine: I love Italian ... my name is Meg, and I'm a carb-o-holic.

Would you ever skydive/bungee jump? Bungee jump never. Sky dive, I really think if it was gauranteed nothing would go wrong, I'd really consider it

Can you do a handstand? Yes, lol. I can also do a pretty kick-ass cartwheel.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Professionally, I'm guessing I'm going to be doing the same thing ... I have a pretty easy job, and I'm making decent money, so I have no desire to get promoted. I'd like to start maybe doing something I actually cared about outside of work, but who knows? Personally, in 5 years, if we don't have kids already (The plan right now is like 2 years from now), we're probably going to be trying for them.
