My brother and my sister from my Dad's second marriage are much younger than I (10 and 8) and I have already asked them to be my flower girl and ring barer. You may ask "Ok... thats great.... so what?" The problem is, I really dont talk to my Dad all that much anymore. We had a falling out a few years ago and, even though I try my best to stay in my bro and sis' life, I really dont talk to my Dad.
I have an underlying fear that since my Dad is not walking me down the aisle or really has no part in the wedding at all other than GUEST, that he will pull my bro and sis out of the wedding at any time and leave me with no flower girl/ ring barer. Would it be in completely poor taste to have backups? I know it sounds absolutely insane but I would not but it past my dad to get upset the week of the wedding and hold my bro and sis hostage out of my wedding. What should I do?
