Wedding Party

Re: (Untitled)

  • OP, please don't type in all caps.  It's hard to read and it's considered to be yelling.

When it comes to "the girls", you really can't tell the store that they have to do things to the dresses that your BMs are wearing if they're paying for them.  Before you even go with DB, ask your BMs individually for their budget to make sure that you're looking in a store in their price range.

Depending on the dresses though, many do come with padding in the chest if they're strapless.
  • Their undergarments are none of your business. Let the girls handle that themselves.

  • Hopefully they have enough decency to wear the appropriate undergarments. But as far as you suggesting or telling them specifics, that is going a bit too far.
  • I agree with the PPs.  Nobody is being rude.  Unless your girls are wearing white or a really light colored dress, nobody is going to see their nips.  And most BM dresses are a little thicker in fabric than regular shirts, so it wouldn't even matter.

Yes, cups can be sewn into most dresses.  But I think you are crossing a line by telling your girls what type of undergarments they are going to wear.  Also, grandparents and church going people won't be looking at their nips anyways.

CAN YOU GO BACK AND EDIT YOUR POST TO REMOVE THE ALL CAPS YOU'RE SCREAMING AT EVERYONE.

It's crossing a line to dictate undergarments.  Big time.  Not only is it overboard on the "I must control every detail of my wedding" scale, it sends a clear message to your friends: "I don't trust you so I'm going to dictate every little detail.  Nothing personal, I just don't trust you."  Being the bride doesn't give you license to dictate things like this.  Sorry.

FWIW, my BMs wore a dress that was impossible to wear a bra with (they chose it) and one of my BMs had a hilarious battle with pasties.  I think eventually she went without.  It was fine.  Oh and your grandparents have seen nipples before--how do you think you all got here?

"I think bablingbrooke is the 13 yr old marring her cousin at the town hall. Lets all give her a big hand. And hope her inbred children can live normal lives." -tabs.

A word of warning from your friends at Cracked.com: Remember that text is going to be how you make your first impression over the internet; if every third word you type is misspelled, people will automatically assume that you're a moron.
