Just thought I'd ask if anyone has ever heard of this before. I recently attended a wedding where the bride and groom had what they called a "house party". (I think that's what they called it) It's kinda like "honorary" bridesmaids and groomsmen. The women wore black dresses of their own, and the men just wore suits...but sat in a special place during the ceremony, and I think they might have even carried small bouquets also. I'm not interested in having alot of bridesmaids at my wedding but I do have a number of friends and family that I'd like to "honor", other than having them cut cake or hand out bubbles....catch my drift? I'm just crurious of other people's take on this.
