• How often do you go out for dinner a week? Maybe 3 times if we're busy.
Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? Um, we have too many. There are some awesome places in our hood.
DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? We try not to go to the same place twice unless it's fabulous!
What type of cuisine do you hate? I am super afraid of indian food.

• How often do you go out for dinner a week?
Maybe once a month, sometimes twice.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place?
Somewhere relatively cheap, like Chili's. Usually we order in from this great pizza place or our favorite Chinese restaurant.

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know?
We stick with what we know, since we can't afford much anyway so there's no need to try out fancy new places.

What type of cuisine do you hate?
I hate seafood. I'm also afraid of trying Indian food for some reason.
• How often do you go out for dinner a week? <1 time a week.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? Not really. The two places we've gone to that we like are an Italian and a Thai place, both on the main street of the city we work in.

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? Occasionally, if something strikes our interest.

What type of cuisine do you hate? I don't like Indian food. I am a huge fan of Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Irish. I have never tried French but I am dying to on our honeymoon.

• How often do you go out for dinner a week? A few times, 2-3 times.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? For drinks, yes. For food, we like to try out different places

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? Like to check out new places, mostly new Italian and Brazilian restaurants.

What type of cuisine do you hate? Indian, too spicy
• How often do you go out for dinner a week? Maybe once... or twice. :)

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? Yes'm. I always mention it and he's like "can't we go somewhere else?"

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? Yup! There are so many restaurants here.

What type of cuisine do you hate? Mexican. Ugh. Mexican.

How often do you go out to dinner? Once a week maybe. We've tried to cut back. When you add up everything you spent for out to dinner meals you can spend a lot per month!

Do you and Fi have a fav place? Not really.

Check out new places? Usually we stick with what we know unless we are out of town, doing something "special", or have a coupon :)

What type of food do you hate? I'm not a big fan of the Brazilian steakhouse stuff. I'm not good with anything spicy either. Indian food doesn't like me. FI hates Italian because he says we can cook it at home. He hates seafood because it's seafood. Seafood and Italian are my two favs.

• How often do you go out for dinner a week? about once

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? recently bonefish, but it's kind of expensive, so we'll start going to shiny diner or the Italian place instead

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? what we know, unless friends suggest something

What type of cuisine do you hate? For the most part I dislike French food. I'm surprised so many people don't like Indian food - that's about the only way I'll eat vegetables.
• How often do you go out for dinner a week?
Usually about once a week.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place?
Bollywood, it's Indian. Sooooo good.
Stina, if you try Indian, you should try the chicken tikka masala. It's really good.

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know?
We try to try new places but we usually end up with the places we already love.

What type of cuisine do you hate?
Seafood. I don't like any seafood.

Ignorance is a poor defense. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
• How often do you go out for dinner a week? It depends on how much money we have, but usually once or twice
Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? Lots :)
DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? We're pretty adventurous with food, so we'll try new places every so often...we do have our standbys though :)
What type of cuisine do you hate? None...I'm not very picky haha
• How often do you go out for dinner a week? Usually twice.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? We have a couple stand-bys depending on what we're in the mood for and how much we want to spend.

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? We love trying new places!

What type of cuisine do you hate? In Chile, I don't like Chinese food...it's overly salty ramen noodles and random veggies. Other than that, I'm not sure there's an entire type that I just won't eat.

For all the anti-Indian people, it doesn't all have to be spicy! Korma is a creamy, coconutty sauce for example. And I just do not understand how you can be against Mexican food...maybe it's my Californian roots, but I can't think of anyone I know who doesn't like it.
• How often do you go out for dinner a week?
Probably about 2 x's weekly.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place?
When we were living in Cali, tons of fave places. Out here, not so much. :(

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know?
We try new places, but look for comfort in what we know if we just want something solid.

What type of cuisine do you hate?
I tried Nigerian food and nearly threw up. So, I'll go with that one.

• How often do you go out for dinner a week?
Depends on the week ... on average, if you count our standard ordering of pizza on Friday nights, I'd say 2/3 times a week.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place?
We have a few actually ... we love food, lol
DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know?
We tend to stick with what we know if we're on any type of schedule. If we have a whole day together with no agenda at all, we'll get adventurous and be like "Hey, what's that place? Let's try it out!".

What type of cuisine do you hate?
I absolutely hate any type of seafood. To me, it honestly tastes like something that lived in it's own toilet. DH can't get enough of it, though: sushi, lobster, salmon, calamari, clams, etc. It's sad, because he loves Red Lobster, but feels guilty that whenever we go, he'll have this huge fancy meal and I'll just eat chicken fingers-little does he realize, those cheddar biscuits more than make up for my lack of "fancy", lol.

Just the words burrito and enchiladas make me want to throw up. And beans... beans and I just disagree. I'll do it occasionally (a nice taco salad is yummy), but otherwise I'll steer clear.

I can't believe how many people don't like seafood! I could eat fish and veggies every single night and be thrilled to pieces.
• Joy, I just have a problem eating something that is still in the shape it was in when it was alive. If my hamburger came in the shape of a cow, I probably wouldn't eat those either. :)

Meg - Your seafood situation is exactly like mine. FI went with me once to Red Lobster but I felt guilty about dragging him along. Now I have to cheat on my FI with seafood and other Italian restaurants. I usually call up my mom and we go eat at one of the places he hates while he is working.

Side note/funny story: I did get FI to try shrimp one time. He wasn't aware that you have to peel the shell, tail, and legs off of the shrimp so he just started eating them whole. Once he learned that you weren't supposed to eat them whole he enjoyed them. It was pretty funny to watch his face after the first few whole shrimp though. He doesn't mind shrimp and crab legs now, but they aren't his favorite.

Frogurt - yeah I could see that. But when you learn how chickens, cows, and pigs are raised and then killed compared to some seafoods...it wouldn't make you want to eat those either.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? Yes, we try to eat at locally owned places to support the area, but they also happen to be the best around.

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? Yep. We love to try out new things.

What type of cuisine do you hate? Hmmm, nothing really. I'm an equal opportunity food lover.

Believe me, there are plenty of times I sit around and think about how cows, pigs, and chickens are raised and killed, and I feel terrible. I guess "out of sight, out of mind" is how I usually get over it.

I also refuse to buy leather furniture or leather coats. Or anything made with real fur, for that matter.

• How often do you go out for dinner a week? Too often, at least 2 times a week and its wreaking havoc on my bank account Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? We loooove this little restaurant named Mulberry on a dead end street in the middle of nowhere, it has the best Italian food and if you didn’t know it was there you wouldn’t know it was there. Oh and Guy Fieri actually came here for Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? Always trying new places What type of cuisine do you hate? I like all sorts of different cuisine but I hate clams and mussels

Yeah, part of my thing with seafood is usually it looks like it did when it was alive. When we went out with Christine and the waiter told her to get it served not de-boned for aesthetic reasons ... shudder, there was nothing "aesthetically pleasing" about seeing that whole fish staring back at us, imo, lol.

ETA: As much as I love bacon and pork, I hate pig roasts for the same reason.

See, he feels bad that I don't eat it, but I really don't mind. Again, at Red Lobster, I could seriously make a meal of the cheddar biscuits, so it really does't bother me that I don't get as "good" of a meal, while he's eating the "Seafood Feast Special". Plus, there really isn't a Red Lobster near by. The 2 closest are 40 minutes away, in opposite directions, so we usually need an agenda nearby to go anyway ... and even then, both are near other restaurants we both like, so it's not like we go that often ... now if we were going there once a week, I might have a problem, lol.

Here in the midwest, it's hard to find good mexican food other than Chipotle-so I understand the distaste for mexican food in our part of the country :-P

And of course, TWO of my favorite mexican restaurants closed just a couple weeks after I ate there for the first time.

• How often do you go out for dinner a week? If we're talking fast food, waaaay more than we should because of work. Sit-down restaurants, maybe twice a month.

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? We love Original Pancake House for breakfast. I'm really blanking on restaurants right now; a guy at our AHR yesterday asked me for restaurant recommendations and I couldn't come up with anything.

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? We love Yelp, so if we're in the mood to try something new, we'll poke around until we find something with good reviews.

What type of cuisine do you hate? I'm not really a fan of most Asian cuisines, except for fake Chinese food (hello, Panda Express!) and Japanese food. I could live off of seafood alone, especially shellfish. Om nom nom. Now I'm really craving scallops, curse you...

Do you and FI/DH have a favorite place? We are in love with Pei Wei (cheap PF Chang's) and I have an Olive Garden addiction (read: problem).

DO you ever check out new places or do you just stick with what you know? FI and I are always on the lookout for new places.
