Get Mani Pedis?No, I got a mani for prom and hated it. I'm trying to avoid it for the wedding but I think I may get one.

Pamper yourself? I guess nothing really. I'll relax with my pups and fill up on candy...is that pampering?

FI give massages/foot rubs?Once in a blue moon I will get a foot rub. It lasts for less than a minute before he gets cranky about it. I never get massages. FI loves to have his back scratched; it is at an addictive point though. We get in tiny arguments about it all the time. Even if I don't have a free hand I'm supposed to be scratching his back. I like to have my head scratched so he will do that when we are laying around watching movies.

How often does FI give gifts?Ummm...once in a blue moon. He will randomly go grocery shopping or clean up the house. He never gets flowers, candy, or random gifts for me though. I don't think it is a huge deal. I appreciate not having to go grocery shopping, or cleaning, or doing laundry when I get home; those are good gifts from him.

Do you ever get mani pedis? Nah...never interested me to get mani/pedis...no one sees my toes and with two kids getting nails done is sort of counter-productive...

I LOVE them.  They are so relaxing.  The last time I did a pedi was to force myself to stay still while studying for the PA Bar.  When I start at another firm, it should become more frequent.

I'm spoiled.  I tend to stretch out on the couch at night with my feet in his lap.  Every once in a while he'll give me a foot massage.  He gives me a shoulder massage at night before we go to sleep - he knows I store stress in my shoulders.  When I was in my first trial a few years ago in Ohio, he actually had to get up and stretch out to work the knots.

Not often.  He will designate "girl" day where we do whatever I want.  These usually follow a "guy" day that I didn't even realize was a guy day - grew up with brothers.

Do you ever get mani pedis? I got one once. It was nice, but I can't afford to do it regularly. 

What do you do to pamper yourself? Um...I don't really know. I craft and drink wine. The Cricut becomes hard to operate after the first few glasses.

How often does FI/DH surprise you with gifts (could be small like chocolate bars)? Once every few weeks. He'll come home with some flowers, or have left work early to clean up/cook dinner, etc. He's a pretty sweet guy. I think I'll keep him.

He gives me foot rubs every now and then.  Basically any time I put my feet in his lap, he will rub them.

I have a regular hair appointment, that's about it.  However, I don't like getting massages.  By anyone.

Do you ever get mani pedis?  Never.  Having my nails filed makes my skin crawl.  My sister insisted that we all paint our toenails brown for her wedding; I didn't own nail polish remover and didn't see the point of buying some for one use, so I had brown big toes for months afterward.

What do you do to pamper yourself?  My idea of pampering involves beer, chocolate, and a few hours to play video games.

How often does FI/DH surprise you with gifts (could be small like chocolate bars)?  I'd say on a somewhat regular basis.  Sometimes I think he does it to screw with the people in the grocery store as much as to make me smile.  The last time he bought me flowers, when the checker asked what he'd done wrong, he said he just wanted to do something nice for me.  The lady behind him punched her husband in the arm and asked why he couldn't be like that.

What do you do to pamper yourself? Usually during the week if I'm super stressed all I want is to veg in front of the TV with the dog, whereas on the weekends pampering might take the form of a shower, putting lotion on all over, painting my nails, etc.

Does your DH/FI give massages and/or foot rubs? He's actually taking a massage class this year, which is more sports massage, but hey, a massage is a massage!

I love getting pedis.  I only get manis about once a year.

Lately after every semester I treat myself to a day at the spa with a deep tissue massage.

DH is horrible at giving massages.  He tries, bless his heart, but it's just not good.

Not as often as I would like.  He's better with little love notes.  We've been hiding notes for each other around the house for 10 years now.  It's always a nice surprise to open the bread box or medicine cabinet and find a little note from the hubby.

I get my nails done and get pedi's on the regular - it's a must.  I went to school for many years and make good money -I deserve it.

See above and also make sure I get enough sleep and pay to have my house cleaned. Oh, and I buy lip gloss like it's going out of style.

A few months back I was told by my fiance that when the FedEx guy delivers a box to the house I was NOT to open it. Luckily, he wasn't home, but the box had big black letters on the side of it: SWEDISH MASSAGE TABLE. Oh yeah - yay for me!!!  And when not on the table getting the full body rub down I get foot massages, too.

I just got a surprise gift 2 weeks ago - he was back home on the island he is from and bought me some cool earrings.

I like pedis. I've only gotten 2 manis in my entire life (1 was the required one for BSC friend's wedding, and the other was for my own). I like how manis look but I hate dealing with having long nails. I love pedis, though.

Depends. Usually, I buy myself something. Every time I get enough rewards points off my credit card, I'll put them towards a spa gift certificate and get myself a massage. I love massages.

Not foot rubs, because I think it's kind of weird for him to do that.  I get massages at random (Again, I love massages) or he'll "pet" me (Which I guess is what other people refer to as "back scratching"), which is absolutely glorious, lol.

He surprises me a lot. On average, I get flowers once a month. I still don't expect them, but it does work out to  about once a month. Sometimes he brings them home, other times he sends them to the office. He also brings me home candy bars or other sweets every once in a while. Every couple of months, he'll make a last minute change in his schedule without telling me (His schedule is always posted on the fridge a month in advanced), and then surprise me with having a random Saturday off (And usually, he'll have a whole "date day" planned out for it).

... um, DH spoils the crap out of me when it comes to surprises, lol.

Do you ever get mani pedis? I have never had one before.  I play the violin and need short nails for that.  Whenever they get even a little longer than the length of my finger, it bothers me and I clip them.  Not sure what I'd think about getting one.

What do you do to pamper yourself? I haven't gone to a spa before or anything, since I'm not so much into that, so my version of pampering is probably having a lazy day at home watching a TV marathon or watching my FI play video games XD

Does your DH/FI give massages and/or foot rubs?  He is a darling when it comes to this.  He gives me back scratches and runs his fingers through my hair, and that just makes me melt!  Love it.

How often does FI/DH surprise you with gifts (could be small like chocolate bars)?  I'm actually more of the gift-giver of the two of us.  I like to take him out to eat.  I'm the one of us with a job (he's still finishing college) so I don't expect him to spend his savings on little things

Yes, at least once a season I'll get a mani/pedi, sometimes more often. In between I'll do my nails at home.

I get regular massages with FI and facials (alone).  I hang out with my FI and friends (dinner, movies, drinks, etc).  I don't shop for clothes that often; I spend my most of my money on food and drinks.  Haha.

Not really.  He's not that great at it, but he will do it very infrequently.

Pretty regularly.  He sends flowers or cookies to my office a few times a year.  He'll bring home the italian ice that I love.  I also surprise him with cookies and other food stuff he likes.
