Re: WPBP of the day

  • Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell? No, when it was on, I was a little too young for it. I was more interested in cartoons and it only came on during Saturday morning cartoons.
A show you love that only shows reruns now: The Wonder Years have ALWAYS been a fave of mine.
A chick flick that you love: You've Got Mail. It made me want to move to the UWS but Aaron said that it would be too embarrassing to admit that a chick flick decided on our location.
Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one? Singin' in the Rain always works....Superbad and Hangover are good ones too.

Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell?  Hell yeah!  I still watch them now if I'm up :)  But, the show is b-a-d.  Uber bad.  I think that's part of its charm.

A show you love that only shows reruns now: Friends, Full House, Roseanne

A chick flick that you love: Ever After, Notting Hill, Mona Lisa Smile, Three Men and a Little Lady (among a million others)

Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one? Not one in particular, different problems make me want to watch different things.  But I always love Sex and the City on DVD.  The only season I don't own is 6!
  • Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell? Yes

A show you love that only shows reruns now: SATC

A chick flick that you love: When I was in high school my friends and I watched 10 Things I Hate About You over and over and over again. I've seen in more than 20 times, so that probably qualifies.

Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one? Nope, not one in particular, but anything funny like a bunch of the movies PPs have mentioned would work.
  • Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell?
    Yes.

A show you love that only shows reruns now:
    Friends, Gilmore Girls

A chick flick that you love:
    Steel Magnolias

Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one?
    Pretty Woman

Ignorance is a poor defense. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
  • Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell? Absolutely. I even had a shirt that said "I <3 Zack Morris".

A show you love that only shows reruns now: Roseanne, King of the Hill and Little House on the Prairie. I blame my Little House obsession on PBS being one of 5 channels we got when I was younger.

A chick flick that you love: I'm jumping on the You've Got Mail train! I'm getting misty just thinking of that moment in the park when Meg Ryan's character finally figures out she was talking to Tom Hanks' character the whole time...awwww...the wonder of the internets.

Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one? Something epic, like Troy, or something that makes me smile like old Disney movies and musicals.

Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell?
Not really.  If it was on, I was bored and nothing else was on, then I'd watch it.  True to form though, I was almost always reading a newspaper, magazine or book at the same time.

A show you love that only shows reruns now:
    Gilmore Girls, Friends
EDIT:  I can't believe I forgot The West Wing

A chick flick that you love:
About a Boy, Notting Hill, When Harry Met Sally, Bridget Jones' Diary

Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one?
    Love Actually

  • Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell?  Oh yeah ... I'm not sure if this happened everywhere or not, but in my area there was a period of time where that show literally came on 6 times a day on 4 different channels ... if you owned a TV, you pretty much couldn't avoid SBTB if you tried, lol

A show you love that only shows reruns now: Gilmore Girls ... my mom and I will still call each other on the phone and say "Are you watching?", like it's a new episode or something whenever it's on.
A chick flick that you love: Another vote for "Ever After"-whenever it comes on, I pretty much have to watch until the end.
Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one? "Arsenic & Old Lace" ... I usually end up saying "Ok, things suck ... but at least Grandma's not nonchalantly killing old men and hiding the bodies in the basement" lol.

  • Did you ever watch Saved By The Bell?  God yes.  Love that show.  FI spent Saturday morning watching it in bed this summer.  :)

A show you love that only shows reruns now:  Probably not the kind of show that you meant, but Much More Music has been re-airing Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I've been re-watching.  I was crazy about that show when I was a teen and I'm rediscovering my love for it.

A chick flick that you love:  How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Is there a movie that you watch when you're feeling low to make you feel better? If so, which one?  Mean Girls!  That movie is so fun.

I love this movie! It's an absolute classic:

Mortimer:"There are 12 men down in the cellar and you admit to poisoning them"

Aunt Abby: "Yes, I did, but you'd don't think I'd stoop to telling a fib!"

Same here.  David Hyde Pierce is great though and I love Ewan McGregor's brief dance when he's describing his weekend at NASA.

DH can't believe I own this movie.  Did you see the little song and dance?  I can't remember if it's at the end of the movie or if it's an extra.
