I'm assuming this is for your WP gifts.  I'm against the norm and I voted for a gift card for my hair and nails since I'm one of the few girls who appreciate a BM gift that saves me money for your wedding.  Even though many people don't consider it a gift to give anything wedding related, I love being given gifts that keep me from spending more money on your wedding. 

I'd still probably prefer the gift card for the hair/nails though regardless since H always gives me a hard time for how much I spend on pedicures.

If you're requiring them to have their hair and nails done professionally for the wedding, then you should pick up the entire tab, and not as their gift.

If it's not for the wedding, then I think it depends on the girl.  I think the gift cards to their favorite stores would probably be more useful, especially if they're not inclined to have their hair and nails done on any other occasion.

The poll is for my wp gifts.  I think I'm going to get them each Yankee candles (they all love them)in their favorite scents & a gift card(s).  (They won't be used for the wedding).  I just can't decide if I should do the place they get their hair (or nails)done or their favorite stores.  If I go the hair salon, or both, route, the cards will be for where they each normally go.  Then in the months before the wedding I'm sure I can pick up little things here & there but their "big" gifts will be done!

I would go with either because I get pedis on a regular basis.  Unless your friends are like me, I'd go with the GC to their favourite store.  You could also get the girls who like nails/hair GCs there if that's their thing and get the others GCs to their favourite stores.  I think if the dollar amount is the same no one would (or should) complain.

I chose hair/nails because I love going to the spa.  Actually I guess I'd prefer a spa gift cert.  I'd really appreciate a GC to my fave store too.

Definitely a gift card to my favorite store. I ususally do my nails myself even though if I got a gift card to a salon I would definitely use it.

I wouldn't mind a gift card to my regular hair salon, because it'd save me the cash out of pocket the next time I need a haricut.

I don't get my nails done, so I wouldn't use a nail salon GC. But I have friends who get mani/pedis on a regular basis and they'd enjoy this.

I voted favorite store, but with the clarification that it would be for the place they usually go, I think any of those options would be fine as long as you're not requiring them to get their hair and nails done for the wedding.

I always like gift cards for places that I like.  Although I might be biased, because I need some more shampoo and conditioner soon and I've only had one pedi but I could really use one right now.  If I had a gift card, I'd be right on that.  I would not use it for the wedding though.
