I just got a 160 on this practice LSAT. I'm so excited. My first practice test several months ago was a 144...so I'm thrilled. I know I need to repeat (read: improve) to make sure I got the real test, but I just had to gush. =)

    Great job!  

    So not to rain on your parade, but was it one of the official LSATs or one of the fake ones someone like Kaplan publishes?  If the former, start your happy dance.  If the latter, take a real one (you can buy "10 Real LSATS" on Amazon for like $20 or something).  Fake/practice ones sometimes give false high scores.  That was my experience, at least.

    It was a Kaplan. Don't worry, I know that's not a real expectation. I'm going to take a real sample at the end of the week to see where that lands me. I can just feel the whole test taking thing getting easier and that makes me happy.

    And oh my gosh, I'm totally buying the real LSAT thing. That sounds awesome. Thanks!

    LSAC publishes every LSAT they've ever proctered (with the exception of one for some unknown reason) and they have something like 5 "10 Real LSATs" out there.  Prep courses basically work you all the way through those past LSATs so take every past exam you can get your hands on!  I took three real tests a couple days before the actual one and the score I got wound up being exactly what my score was on the actual test.  So I highly recommend it.
