Need Hair do help!

Hello fellow San Antonio brides, I am wondering what is the average price to pay for getting your hair styled on your wedding day and also for trial runs and the bridal portrait. I know nothing about where to begin and I want to make sure I am paying an average amount more or less, I would hate to pay too much and not even know it! Does anyone have any recommendations for a hair salon that does great hair at reasonable prices?

I didn't really shop around that much so I might be way off with this, but I'd say the average prices for the wedding day hair and make-up is anywhere from $80-130. Bridals/trial runs I think are usually a little cheaper, maybe like $50-90? It really just depends where you go.

I used Mary Coop, who works independently and for an amazing price. She did my hair, all 4 of my BMs, my mom and my aunt's hair, along with I think 6 of us who also got make-up. She charged me $25 for my hair and make-up (I got a discount because I referred her to my wedding party), and the BMs were $35 for hair and make-up ($25 for just hair). She also comes to your location at no extra charge. She did a trial for free, and the bridals were $25.  I loved the way my hair and make-up turned out, and all of my BMs were happy too. I would recommend emailing her to see if you could set up a trial with her. Her email is maryecoop at gmail dot com.

I know rmfriedman on here used Roseanne Harris and was very happy with how her hair and make-up turned out (she did look amazing!). I'm not sure of Roseanne's contact info or pricing though, so you might want to try paging rmfriedman if you're interested (or there might be a post down the page about hair with her contact info).

I paid $125 for hair and makeup for my wedding.  I went to Capri Hair Studio and I can't remember how much each service costs but they do have pricing online.

Thank you guys for your responses, linzlars your stylist's prices sound pretty good. Thank you for the contact info as well, hopefully I will find someone shortly who won't break the bank!
