have any of you had your bridesmaids in different length dresses? my bridesmaids are probably going to be getting their dresses from David's Bridal, and the color that best matches my wedding colors is the color plum, but only in the satin material (I'm using eggplant for my wedding, and plum just looked too bright in the other fabrics at David's). I've told them all to choose their own style dress for the wedding, and had originally told them I just wanted everything the same length (just too keep it looking a little more coordinated). one of my girls isn't really comfortable in shorter dresses, so I figured I'd just have them all go with floor-length dresses, but now that I'm looking at David's website, I feel like there aren't that many options in floor-length, plum, satin dresses.
does anyone have any pictures of their bridal parties in different length dresses? the few weddings I've seen/been to where the girls had different length dresses, I just didn't like the look. but I'm also thinking maybe it was because in most of those cases, they were all in different fabrics as well. I guess I just want to see some more pictures to reassure myself that they won't look totally mis-matched. I know I'm totally over-analyzing this, but in reality, I just want my girls to be able to pick out the dresses that flatter them the best and that they are the most comfortable in, but I still want them to look like they are all in the same wedding!
