For example, we had to send my BIL (not FBIL anymore!) out to buy wine. The department store where we registered lets you order wine through them, which was supposed to be delivered on Friday. Well with all the earthquake drama FI totally forgot (as did I, but it wasn't technically my "to do"), and we didn't realize the wine never arrived until the caterers came up to where we were during cocktail hour asking what to do. On the one hand it would have been helpful if they'd told us this during the two hours I was at the venue getting ready before the ceremony, but on the other hand I don't think they wanted to stress me out. So FI, my dad and I all threw money at BIL and sent him off to the nearest grocery store. We just switched around some order stuff - did toasts before dinner instead of between courses - and had wine by the main course. Besides, there was a big damn earthquake the week before, so we figured people would be understanding, and they were

Other than that, things went off pretty much without a hitch. We had a blast and stayed til the lights were turned on and the music was turned off at 5am. I feel like the goodness is still hitting me...I keep thinking of things and going "oh yeah, that was great!" Now we're hanging out with BMs and family for the next few days and headed to Aruba for 8 days on Friday!
