Thanks. It's supposed to be gorgeous weather.

We decided to put off a honeymoon until spring and go to Spain then, We had considered going to New Orleans for a few days but I don't think the city would want us anywhere near it.

My one brother was supposed to go on his honeymoon to Florida. That was cancelled by Hurricane Wilma tearing through.

The other was supposed to go to Italy this spring on his honeymoon. The volcanic ash cloud wiped that out.

Common denominator: my family's honeymoons. I'm kidding of course but I really don't want to be the one to confirm the jinx and have that city hit yet again.

I've wanted to go to Barcelona since th Olympics were there in '92. I'm not into seeing an entire country while I'm there. I spent two weeks in Galway city (taking day trips a couple of times) a few years ago and loved it. FI spent time in Greece but felt like he missed a lot because he didn't give himself enough time.

There will definitely be pics. I think it's the only way to show how I pulled off a Ben Franklin themed wedding. Long story, but it started with the "Declaration of Independence, nevermind, Save The Date."

What part of Italy. A former secretary of mine is from there and she said the northern part and the Mediterranean are like two different countries.

Frogurt - Thanks! It was the second dress I tried on. I hadn't even gotten it zipped or looked in the mirror yet and I told my mom that it was the dress. I just knew it was mine. We took the pictures at my late grandpa's best friend's farm. It was right across the street from ours. Our farm is now an elementary school but I got my pictures in a familiar place that reminds me of my "pa-pa."

Tldh - I just want to spend a few weeks touring. Venice, Rome, Florence, Tuscany. I've always been obsessed with Venice. I've heard Rome is cool because of all the site seeing stuff but it is really "dirty" and gives you the "dangerous" feeling. Florence and Tuscany would be great "out in the country" places to visit. Have some wine and good food...yum!

I too cannot wait to see the TLDH wedding pictures!

Congrats! Good luck! Try to do a little mini-moon for a couple days after the wedding if you can. We got married in July but had to wait until December to take our HM (to Costa Rica) but did three days in Lake Tahoe to just get a little "private time" after the wedding. I know you'll have a brilliant time--can't wait to hear about it!
