Another wonky BM scenario

Re: Another wonky BM scenario

  • There is an FAQ thread right above your post saying it's okay to have uneven sides. So yes. It's fine.

  • So you'd keep your closest friend out of your wedding because symmetry is more important to you than your friendship?  Very nice.

WPs are not about symmetry (or gender for that matter).  Lose the notion of even "sides" and your problem is instantly  solved.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
  • at the end you could have two bridesmaids inbetween a groomsman... thats symmetry.

  • You can have uneven sides.  1 GM can escort 2 BMs.  Bam, problem solved.

  • Nothing listed on the FAQ about that one. Thanks though.
My friendship is important to me. That's why I wanted to inlcude her. I just wanted suggestions.
Whitma87, thank you. Fi's little brother would look like a stud with my two best friends walking down the aisle with him. :)
  • I had two more than DH, so our processional/recessional went 2, 3, 3, 2.

Riddle me this: what is the worst that could possibly happen if the sides are uneven?  Seriously, I'm curious what you think is the major problem here.

It's not in the FAQ, but it IS listed at the very top of the main page, right underneath the big white text that says "wedding party".  It should have been pretty much the first thing you saw on this board.

  • We had one more BM than GM.  The wedding police didn't bust the place up and no family members walked out in protest.  Ask your friend already.  To exclude her due to numbers would be beyond asinine.

Nah, in this case all they had to do was look at the name of the board :)

I unfortunately committed the travesty of calling it FAQ's. Dear me.
