This is awful to say, but it is the truth. My best friend is extremely difficult. Even more so when it comes to weddings.
I want her to be a part of my wedding day, but after experiencing her around weddings I know I won't be able to handle it.
We are doing a
salt ceremony (clicky) and after much discussion between my mom, FI, and myself we think that asking her to officiate this portion of the ceremony would be our best option.
We think this way she can be included but still get to do her own hair, makeup, pick out her own clothes and shoes, and if she is late or forgets to show up our officiant can step in and do it.
Do you think she would be offended if I ask her to do this?
