What's the craziest flavor of ice cream you've ever enjoyed? I am not very adventurous when it comes to ice cream, but maybe that's because there are so many other flavors that sounds awesome. For me, the most adventurous flavor I've ever had is red bean! mmm
If a restaurant raves about having the best "_______" do you HAVE to try it? Do you have a story about something about this? Oh yes, it's like a challenge. This year alone, I had a Red's lobster roll and we waited over 1 hr and 45 minutes for that sucker. The mayonnaise was unreal! We also waited 45 minutes for a Pink's chili dog in LA. Best chili dog I've ever had! 
Do you consider yourself a foodie? Yes, definitely, especially after joining weight watchers. Now that I'm only allowed a certain amount of points a day, I only want the good stuff.
Your favorite restaurant: In my hood, I love this place called "El Almacon". It's argentinian. mmm! Oh and there's this other place called Fada which I haven't been to in months but they always have  a live tin pan band and I always wanna dance when I eat there.
Was your first date to a restaurant? What was it called? I can't remember because we weren't really sure when we started dating.

I can't think of anything too crazy that I ordered.  My favorite ice cream is Coconut Chip -- coconut ice cream with chocolate chips

No, I'm a basic meat-and-potatoes girl, so I usually order what I KNOW I'll like.  I hate buying food and hating it.

No.  I'm pretty boring.

The Hawthorne Inn on the Berlin Tpke in CT.  BEST prime rib ever.  Or Amici's on Main Street in Middletown, CT.  They have the best Italian food I've ever had outside of homemade.

Was your first date to a restaurant? What was it called? No, but FI took me to Angelica's in Middleton, MA for our 6-month anniversary a few years ago.  It was wonderful.

What's the craziest flavor of ice cream you've ever enjoyed?  I don't know.  I'm not very adventerous when it comes to ice cream.  I had one called Deep Purple Cow and it was black raspberry ice cream with blueberries, dark chocolate chunks, and white chocolate chunks.  It was sooooo good.

If a restaurant raves about having the best "_______" do you HAVE to try it? Do you have a story about something about this?  No, not usually.  Maybe if it's something I really like...like "best cake ever!"  I would probably try that.

Do you consider yourself a foodie?  For sure.

Your favorite restaurant: I don't really know if I have a favorite.  There are a couple of local italian places in my town that I really enjoy.

If a restaurant raves about having the best "_______" do you HAVE to try it? Do you have a story about something about this? No. I'll consider it, but I won't try it just because of that if it doesn't sound like something I'd normally like or if there's something else that sounds better

Your favorite restaurant: Hard question! It really depends on what I'm in the mood for, although I will say the best meal of my life was in Athens at the restaurant on Lykavittos Hill.

I'm a culinary adventurer A restaurant opened in my area that claimed to have the best dim sum in Pittsburgh, so we went...and it was freaking awesome! I've recommended it to at least four or five people
Do you consider yourself a foodie? Absolutely! I went to culinary school, but I was a foodie long before I chose to make it a career!! (In all honesty, I've learned more watching the Food Network and cooking on my own than I did in school!)
Your favorite restaurant: It absolutely depends on what I'm in the mood for. Jimmy Wan's for Chinese, Ichiban for Japanese/sushi, El Campesino for Mexican, Original Pancake House for Breakfast (not IHOP, way better!)...I could go on and on

If you're talking about with my FI, then no...we hung out at the bar together alot, and I don't remember if or when we had an actual first "date", even though we have 17 years of history together...as for in general, I don't remember my first date, so I couldn't say...

What's the craziest flavor of ice cream you've ever enjoyed? I think goat cheese and pear?  I don't remember, but it was something odd but yummy.

If a restaurant raves about having the best "_______" do you HAVE to try it? Do you have a story about something about this? I can't really think of anything, but if they look like they have yummy desserts I always want to try.

Your favorite restaurant: Benihana--we always go for our birthdays.

Was your first date to a restaurant? What was it called? Technically, our first date was to a wedding, but we two days later we went to Longhorn Steakhouse, and that's what we call our first date.

Your favorite restaurant: Caitie Girls. I'm so sad we moved away from where it was located. They always use local ingredients and it was so. freaking. good.

Yep. H told me to pick the place, any place no matter the cost. When I chose Chili's he later said he knew right then and tehre I was a keeper (and at the time was secretly thanking his lucky stars I didn't pick an expensive place)

What's the craziest flavor of ice cream you've ever enjoyed?  DH made a pretty good apricot ale ice cream a couple of weeks ago.  His earlier attempt at beer ice cream used a raspberry wheat, but the recipe called for WAAAAY too much sugar, and it was borderline inedible.

If a restaurant raves about having the best "_______" do you HAVE to try it? Do you have a story about something about this?  Depends on my mood, but I'm usually up for the house specialty.  And there's some places that it's borderline sacrilege to order anything BUT the specialty.  Who goes to Pink's and doesn't get a hot dog, or to Mrs. Knott's and doesn't get the chicken dinner?

Do you consider yourself a foodie?  Yup.  DH and Gordon Ramsay have ruined my palate for lesser food.  It was a sad day when I realized that I can no longer stomach Olive Garden (they did have perfectly cooked calamari, but the entrees were terrible).

Your favorite restaurant:  Hmm...  Our local Original Pancake House is a favorite, and I love Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen and Catal.  I think DH would probably say his favorite restaurant of all time is Tito's Tacos.

Was your first date to a restaurant? What was it called?  Our first proper date (not a group thing) was to ESPN Zone.

If I go to a place that's known for something, then yes, I will certainly try it. I don't have any interesting stories, though.

Used to be AZZA in NYC but it's closed down (Moroccan food). I really love Da Umberto in Chelsea - DH takes me every year for my birthday. Locally, we go to Fleming's for our "celebrations". And I love the Afghan place near us - amazingly delicious food.  We also LOVE Mama Luisa's in Newport.

Was your first date to a restaurant? What was it called?
It was. The resteraunt was Taste of India.

We wanted to go to his LA restaurant to cap off our honeymoon, but it didn't end up working out.  Someday, though.  The Hell's Kitchen season 1 winner has a restaurant in LA, we want to check that out, too.

Have you been watching Masterchef?  It's kind of lame so far, but I'm hoping it gets better.

I don't watch any cooking shows as of now. I liked Ramsey's kitchen nightmares. I was on a whole BBC thing for a while and loved that AND the F word, although I didn't like seeing the animals being slaughtered or castrated. That made me sad.

Yeah, we DVR most of Ramsey's shows.  God bless U-verse.  We're really considering going somewhere else when our lease is up, but I think I'd be really sad to go somewhere that didn't have U-verse...
