Re: WPBP of the day

  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late? I try to be early because in my acting school, my teachers were adamant about pounding into our skulls "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is late, to be late is unacceptable."
Favorite claymation character: Hmm, it's between Pokey or Gromit. Hey, both sidekicks.
A performer who you want to see before you die: I want to see Billy Joel and Paul McCartney.
What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? Going out with boys before I was 16, sneaking out, kissing, you name it...if it wasn't sex and it had to do with boys, I was doing it.

  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late? Early.  I hate being late.

Favorite claymation character: I was obsessed with Gumby as a kid.

A performer who you want to see before you die: Within Temptation

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? Talking on the phone after 10 PM.  I would talk to my boyfriends until 3 or 4 AM.

  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late? Most of the time either just early or on time...I am rarely late
    Favorite claymation character: California Raisins!
A performer who you want to see before you die: I'd like to see Elton John...I've seen Billy Joel twice but I'd have loved to see them together...
What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? leaving while grounded...oh and dating...I wasn't allowed to date in high school but I did it anyway...
  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?  I usually try to be early...unless I'm meeting my mom anywhere.  She will be
ten minutes late, so I plan around that.

    Favorite claymation character: Mr. Bill

A performer who you want to see before you die: I would love to see No Doubt or Paul McCartney

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? Same with Stina--if it had to do with boys, and wasn't sex, I was doing it.  There really weren't that many rules I broke though, because my parents were pretty trusting of me.  Looking back, they probably shouldn't have been, but I guess I turned out alright :-)

Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late? I hate being late, so I almost always show up early, even if it's just by 5 minutes. It's so disrespectful of other people's time if you're consistently late.

Favorite claymation character: I've got to jump on the Gumby train. I, apparently, was convinced as a child that I was going to marry Gumby and that Pokey would be our pet.

A performer who you want to see before you die: Pearl Jam...and I'm going to in May! Woohoo!

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? Don't talk back. My sass was always getting me in trouble.

Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?  I am never on time. I am usually early, but if I don't manage to be early, I'm 5 minutes late. It drives me nuts.

Favorite claymation character: Hmm. Probably Mr. Bill. "Oh no, Mr. Bill!" and then he gets smooshed. Hehehe.

A performer who you want to see before you die: Prince.

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? Smoking, cigarettes and dirty MJing.
  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?
Early. I had a teacher tell me one time 'early is on time, on time is late' and that always stuck with me.

    Favorite claymation character:
Sadly, I can't think of any. I never really watched any claymation.

A performer who you want to see before you die:
Live. And another Cirque du Soleil show (I've seen La Nouba twice and really want to see O).

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof?
Sass. I had quite the mouth on me. And lights out after a certain time. I loved to read in bed and always got caught with my booklight.
  • Early or late?  I'm really bad about being late to things. I have recently started trying to change that. Now i'm usually on time or 2-3 mins late instead of 15.

Claymation? Gumby. I can't really think of any others right now.

Performer? Hmmm. I don't really go to a lot of concerts. I would say the Eagles but I got to see them on their fare well tour a few years ago. Cirque de soleil would be pretty awesome though.

Constant Rule? I never took my shoes off at the door, I snuck out a few times and I would sass my mom. I had a defiant streak with sass. I dated the same guy through high school and he wouldn't get off work until around 10-11 so she didn't really have a problem with me talking on the phone then. She also didn't have to worry about me going out on a lot of dates because he worked so much.

  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?
Early to meetings, thanks to my British father, but late to social things. EVERYONE in Chile is late to anything social (ie. if you invite people over for 9, the early birds show up at 9:30), so it's rubbed off...unfortunately for my friends back home, I can't quite shake the habit even when I'm in CA, so I'm usually 10 min late.

    Favorite claymation character:
    Grommit

A performer who you want to see before you die:
Don't laugh. But the first person to come to mind was Britney Spears just because I've heard she puts on a good show.

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof?
Staying on the phone with my boyfriend past 10...but it was usually just til 10:30 or so before they'd realize I hadn't said goodnight and "remind" me to hang up.
  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?
Apparently late ;).. usually early though, except for work.

    Favorite claymation character: Mr. Bill!!!

A performer who you want to see before you die: Duran Duran.. even though they are sad and old now.

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof?
I was pretty good, but I never made my bed or cleaned my room. I just couldn't be bothered to do either

  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?
I am usually on time or early to anything except for work.  unfortunately I am almost always late for work.  School doesn't start until 8:25, and we are supposed to be here at 8, but it's usually 10 after.

    Favorite claymation character:
Claymation creeps the hell out of me.

A performer who you want to see before you die:
I saw Madonna 4 years ago, incredible show! I want to see Bob Seger, and would like to see Elton John.  EJ was in my college town a few years back, the first performer in our new center, but tickets were over $300.

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof?
I always had a spare phone.  When my phone got taken away, I would just take that one out from its hiding spot and plug it in to use it.  I would also talk past 9 a lot of times, and if I was on the phone and someone had to call me back, I would call "popcorn" over and over and get the call waiting so my parents wouldn't hear the phone ring.

  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late? It really varies a lot.

    Favorite claymation character: Jack Skellington

A performer who you want to see before you die: Madonna

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof?  Reading with a flashlight after "going to bed."
  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late? early

Favorite claymation character: I never watched anything that was claymation.

A performer who you want to see before you die: Bon Jovi

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof? My mom was always yelling at me for not being more social.  I spent most of time time hiding in my room reading.
  • Do you usually show up to things early, on time, or late?  On time usually, unless it's an early class, in which case a little late.  I'm not a huge morning person.

Favorite claymation character:  I don't have one.

A performer who you want to see before you die:  Adam Lambert.  Or at least, that's who I want to see right now.  There's no one I really idolize or anything.

What is a constant rule you would break under your parents' roof?  Staying up too late.

  • Seshat, I saw O. It WAS amazing....although I felt like I had to pee so bad afterwards. All that water splashing...
