Colors: Black and purple...Flower girl dress what color?

My bridemaids are wearing black dress, flowers will be purple. Guys will be wearing black tuxes with purple vest and tie. What color should the flower girl wear???

One of my BMs suggested her wearing a silver dress with purple accent, I'm not opposed to that, but what do most people do for this?

Many times flower girls wear a white dress (sometimes with colored accents).  But flower girls can wear pretty much whatever color would be appropriate.  I think what your BM suggested sounds like a great option.

There's no rules.  Take her shopping for dresses (they don't have to be "flower girl" dresses, anything of the right formality will do) and see what you find.  Maybe she can wear a lighter shade of purple if the flowers will be dark, or wear the same shade but carry white flowers.

Traditionally I believe the flower girl wears white, but purple or silver or pretty much whatever color you want would be fine.

Mine wore white with a blue sash that matched the BMs

I just told our FGs parents to get them any blue dress to complement the navy BM dresses. They'd be cute in burlap sacks, so I'm not too concerned.

I agreew ith the silver idea.  My colors are black, white and purple so I would like my flower girls to wear a white dress with silver or purple accents.

Yay for same colors!  I had found a black and purple dress last fall at Target, it was a holiday dress, and I'm kicking myself for not picking it up.  It's discontinued now  I'm not a fan of flower girls in white, I'd rather coordinate them with the party somehow.  I'm hoping the dress makes a return again this year or something similar.  I'll have the ringbearer in a purple dress shirt so hopefully I can find a purple dress for my niece
