Hey! Today, 10/10/11, is one year since my FI proposed!!!!!! How exciting! Well, "last year" when he proposed I was on a wedding high, and asked people to be in my wedding party, without really thinking it through. By November 1st I had 3 bridesmaids and one MOH. By April, I realized I had picked the wrong girls, and it was nothing but a disaster. I ended up canceling my wedding, and haven't really talked to them since. Now, I am getting back on the planning wagon, and told FI that I did NOT want any BM's or a MOH. He told me to pick other people and he still wants GM standing up with him. I REALLY do not want any girls near me! It was MAJOR drama, and I just don't feel like dealing with that whole mess again. Regardless, different girls (I would never ask the original girls again!) I just don't want them!!!!!! FI and I argue about this, and I can't make him understand how upsetting it was! He says it will look stupid if he has 3 or 4 guys next to him, and I have nobody. I don't care.... I would rather them just be guests. I really feel strongly about this, and I don't know how else to tell him! Any suggestions? Thanks!
