Ivory dress

My bridal party is in a black and white satin floral print dress but the dress I picked out is ivory lace with a black satin bow.  We tried the dresses on and they look fine next to each other but I'm wondering how it will look in pictures that day.  Has anyone had any experience with this?

Go back to the bridal shop with one of your BMs and a third person with a camera.  Put the dresses on, take the picture standing next to eachother, go to the drug store, print it out and see how it looks.

What exactly are you afraid of?  That ivory will look "dirty" next to white?  Or is it something else?

I'm leaning towards "you are over thinking this" but if you are truly concerned, do what tldh said

Ivory is pretty much a shade of white.  With you in one shade, your BMs in another, and the GM's shirts in another, everything should still look pretty much the same.  I wore an ivory lace dress, had white flowers, DH wore a white but not super-crisp-white shirt and the GM all wore white shirts.  The ivory doesn't look like a different color in any of our pictures.

You're overthinking this.  You have a dress that you love.  You have BM dresses that you love.  So where is the problem?  The wedding industry does their best to convince you that the success of your wedding depends on things like worrying about white and ivory dresses and how photos will look.  They're just wrong~the success of your wedding has nothing to do with the color of dresses.
