I am close with a few of my girls' parents (grew up with them, spent holidays with them, etc.), so I am inviting them to the wedding. I have met the other girls' parents once or twice, but do not know them as well. Also, the parents I am already planning to invite live in town, and the others are OOT (partly why I don't know them as well).
So, my question is: should I invite the rest of the parents? Will these girls/thier parents feel offended if I don't? Is it customary to invite bridesmaids' parents? The only wedding I've been in, my mother was invited, but she was also close with the bride. I just really don't want it to seem like I expect them to travel far for someone they barely know, or worse, that I only want them to send a gift (NOT the case at all!!)
Or is this just silly, and not even an issue I should be concerned about?
