A few weeks ago all of my BMs and I went dress shopping. I told them that they could all get different dresses as long as they were all the same length and the same color. They really liked this idea and I thought it was great because it allowed them to control the price and pick what they liked (and felt comfortable in). I told them that they could wear black shoes (they can be different styles, just black).
Well, much to my surprise they picked the same dress! It didn't bother me because I just wanted them to pick something that they would be comfortable in and could wear again. So fast forward to today...now one BM says she doesn't like the dress and has found something she likes better. Four of the other BMs (I have 6) basically told me that they would wear whatever I wanted them to. My MOH is my sister and super dress picky so she probably won't want to change from the original.
So here is my issue: I actually really like the idea of having the BMs wear a different shade of purple each. Some can wear the same color, no big deal. The original dress was eggplant but I'd love some lavender and other shades too. Has anyone done this? Is it a good idea? Does anyone have pictures?
Thank you very much!
