Dream about our wedding...8 months after the fact

Last night I dreamed DH and I got married and went to our reception, which had a cash bar, a couple bowls of nuts for food, and very few guests.  DH was missing--he decided skip our reception to go hang out with his friends.  It was so vivid that it took me a second this morning to remember that we had a wedding that DH did attend.  But boy was he in trouble for those few seconds before I had my bearings this morning :)

  • lol wedding dreams are hilarious.

A couple of months back, I dreamed that I was walking down the aisle and our guests were standing in the aisle and making it hard to walk down and not paying attention.  I thought maybe I should turn around and it wasn't time to walk down yet, but I figured that as soon as I saw FI's face it would be okay.  Except I kept trying and I couldn't see him.  When I finally got to the altar I found out why - he was sitting down EATING!  And he kept eating through the whole ceremony.

Boy was I pissed when I woke up!  It took me a bit to realize it was just a dream too.  Hope it doesn't happen on the real day ;)

  • It's really weird, I've had more wedding nightmares post-wedding than I did pre-wedding.

I did have one where DH bailed on our incredibly lame reception, and I was left to essentially host an angry mob. Yeah, he was in a lot of trouble for that one, too.

  • Haha!  I don't think I've had a wedding nigtmare....but on occasion I still dream that I need to go back to repeat a college class that I took - but now I don't know a thing.
  • Banana, I keep having a recurring nightmare about taking "Calculus for Law Students".
